Fashion Emergency

I got pulled over by the fashion police yesterday but managed to just get a warning. I had a job fair, and I have been actively avoiding my closet full of dressy  girl clothes. After weeks of on again/off again poor food choices (read: binges) have certainly not helped my physique. So needless to say, when I brought out my usual interview standbys, just one hour before leaving, neither of them fit and one of my jackets is actually dissolving. Hmmmm. I didn't think synthetics did that. Still, wouldn't have fit with or without chunks missing. I managed to cobble together a passable outfit (to which my son exclaimed "You look funny, mommy--too girly!" I am not helping either child have a normal view of adult women, I guess.

So here I am still jobless (the fair was a waste of time, after all that), and in need of a good interview outfit. Do I buy something right off in the size I am, or wait until I have an interview on the chance that I actually stay on program and lose a bit of weight? Decisions, decisions....

OH my, the interview suit dilemma. How I hate that. No fashion advise here. Although when I look girlie Ben wants to wear my stuff like my necklace. He insisted I bring pretty things to Nepal for when I met Sarina. He has an eye for fashion. Maybe you could ask his advise.

Maybe you should do what hillary did and just get the same out fit in different size,s and then you can have an interview section and just change the assories. That would give you on less thing to worry about. serenity now and sister #2 usually seemn to do well on interviews.
I have a friend who just desided she wanted to work at this place (but did't realy care if she got a job)and researched it and went in cold to HS department and wowed them.
You never know. I had interviewed at a place I really wanted to work and was returning from the 4th interview, got mad and stopped at a completly different type of nursing job, started the next day , stayed 22 years and loved that type of nursing more then I ever thought I would. Look out of the box and good luck
