Thanks! This was the biggest quilt I've done for a long time (my second quilt ever was queen sized and done on commission for a co-worker). I learned some valuable lessons doing this one: the same block over and over is BORING! And asymmetrical blocks don't lend themselves to easy quilting like symmetrical ones do. Live and learn. My next project is a wall hanging....
Wow, it is gorgeous. Love the elephants and the bright orange. Ben uses his quilt all the time. He may be using it now as he is laying on the couch watching tv before bed.
You're so funny, Leslie! It took me forever to do this quilt and it bored me to tears. I'm moving on to smaller projects. I did give some thought to getting a professional quilting machine and doing machine quilting, but as that is the part I like least about this hobby, the thoughts didn't last that long. The part I like best is the design stage. And buying new fabric...
